Profile:

 

As a 3D computer artist I use animation as a short story format to talk about the beauty and struggles of life. The story telling is non-linear and is rich in abstract and symbolic meaning. These animations are a one-person creative effort, and any support would be greatly appreciated.

 

Educational and Awards history:

·        Certified by Avid Softimage as an XSI instructor, October 2003.

·        “Bullet Box” officially selected to be presented in Athens festival of film and new media, e-phos, 24-28 September 2003.

·        “Bullet Box” awarded Nominated Works in the Animation category at the 2002 (6th) Media Arts Festival, Agency for Cultural Affairs, Japan.

·        Graduated summa cum laude and awarded Art and Design Medal from the Computer Animation and Interactive Media Program at Fashion Institute of Technology. (B.F.A. 2001)

·        Graduated summa cum laude from the Toy Design program at F.I.T. (B.F.A. degree 1991). Received Honorable Mention from Jim Henson Productions for character design in 1990.

·        Graduated as an honor student from the Art and Advertising design program at New York City Technical College. (A.A.S. degree 1988). Winner in the Portfolio Award Competition sponsored by the Advertising Women of New York, 1988.

·        Graduated with honors in Fine Art from Newtown High School, N.Y. C. in 1984.
